THE INTERNATIONAL PLATFORM FOR PEACE IS A SUBSIDIARY OF 1,000 WOMEN IN WHITE, INCORPORATED

THOUSANDS OF WOMEN IN WHITE, FOLLOWED BY THOUSANDS OF

MEN IN BLACK EVENT HISTORICAL OVERVIEW

A statewide call for women to join and create thousands of WOMEN IN WHITE, followed by thousands of MEN IN BLACK, for a historic march in and through the streets of the city of Los Angeles to commence a nationwide NEW movement for Peace, Faith and Family to extend across America, with a message AND a unified front to help stabilize a crippled Nation.

A House, Kingdom, Church, Supreme Court or Nation divided WILL NOT STAND and thus WOMEN IN WHITE, followed by MEN IN BLACK will stand to show and tell a story; long lost and forgotten; of how the women in any community, city or wash pot areas in the world have always taken steps to save and support women and households in the struggle for equality in employment, in the military, in life and in a broke down world of chaos.

The WOMEN IN WHITE showed up again, at a time such as this, to be heard and be counted as those interested in preserving a Nation for their children and Grandchildren and for their men who help lead aright in the face of enemy taunts of national destruction. No woman left behind in a wheelchair, on crutches, declared blind or walking in homelessness and poverty was left behind in our mission of support and call out for peace and family preservation…. with no city left unturned, from our humble start in Los Angeles, California, led by Founder and Organizer Dr. Marcia Ann Mims Coppertino and a team of 12.

They came and marched to sell not, preach not, put egos on front street or act as judge and executioner of those whose actions say they are out of harmony with the health, moral and emotional well-being or social welfare of others, born or unborn. We came to share ourselves for the sake of others and by example of faith, reach out silently by show that all can live together in peace and harmony when values that shaped our century were in place and honored. Our example spoke louder than words.

OBJECTIVES AND OUTCOME

Our objectives were to commence our march January 2016 as the kick off city with the original, groundbreaking 1,000 women dedicated to peace, faith and family that acted as the catalyst for a nationwide movement for generations to come, and one that raised awareness that women do care for and about each other and family values, and who were not afraid to stand and say we have seen enough and have had enough of the carnage, violence and self-destruction in the land and across the sea. Our past sisters of decades and centuries ago took to the streets, alleys and underground railways and in their footsteps we came forward by and through their example to preserve a legacy etched in blood, mistreatment and hopelessness. They laughed and cried and cheered us on from the dead by spirit and remembrance….and for this we move and have our being from their unforgotten valor and the work they left undone not by choice….FOR US TO COMPLETE AND NOT FORGET.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

The historic march started from city hall through downtown Los Angeles followed by media, air sky captains, radio and television media, foot cameraman and publicity women and outlets. Our proposed route (AFTER CITY AND FIRE CLEARANCES NOW IN PROGRESS) drew nationwide interest as all women dressed in white take over the airwaves in solidarity. Media Interviews, community gifting, national network coverage, pre march television and radio interviews and informational requests on all participants and their reason for their participation highlighted the occasion. Women across the nation tuned in and cheered participants on! We will seek to use 2016 as their sounding board year to help recover a fallen nation in the face of American and global enemies around the world.

AUDIENCE

The scale of participants included corporate, entertainment and foundation leaders, government officials, professionals from various industries, individuals of affluence and influence and personal branding. The audience also included  women and men of all ages, faith, family structure/make-up and family position from around the world from prison cells to the Vatican in Rome.

MARKETING OUTREACH

Marketing efforts reached a full strategic integration of communication vehicles such as social media (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter & Instagram), press releases, media advisories, email blasts, e-Newsletters, and all manner of web promotions.

Dr. Marcia Ann Mims Coppertino, Ph.D. Msc.D  Psy.D, 1000 Woman in White, to be followed by 100 Men in Black Los Angeles Founding Organizer/Director says her work and service to humanity is the result of a promise to Jehovah God and in dedication to her Great Great Grandfather Gib Mims; Great Grandfather, Rev. Will Henry Mims; Grandfather/Grandmother Rev. Calvin and Ann Kirby Mims, formerly founding members/builders of Castalia Missionary Baptist Church of Memphis, Tennessee; and father, the late Bishop James Howard Mims, Community Leader, Activist, Counselor, Lover of the People and founder of The Household of God Bibleway Church in Lynwood, California. Dr.Coppertino heeded the call for peace relations February 2015 when 8 separate calls came into her office from women in distress. She quickly thereafter assembled ladies in her living room and spoke of the plight of LA women and out of that dinner conversation, the 1,000 Women in White movement was birthed. After the historic national march in January, 2016, Dr Coppertino developed The International Platform for Peace to continue the work of peace on a global scale.
